Reminder: Our league is operated 100% by Volunteers.
Saturday Registrations: Saturday registrations will begin this weekend from 9:00 am till noon at the Waffle House in Shalimar. Volunteers are needed to help, please email Glenda at
if you are able to help at any of the next 4 Saturday’s.
Coaches Meeting: We will be having a Coaches meeting on Tuesday evening February 2, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. The location of the meeting is TBD; check back on the website over the weekend. Volunteers who would like to Coach at any level, needs to attend the meeting. Coaches can be male or female and do not have to have a child registered in the league.
Work Day: We will be having a work day at the fields THIS Saturday January 30th beginning at 9:00 a.m. We need as many volunteers to help as we can get.
1) Outfield fences on Fields 2, 3 & 4 needs to be put up.
2) Double batting Cage floors need to be pressure washed (washers needed)
3) Replace the netting on one of the double batting cages
4) All bases need to be dug up and reset
5) Move bleachers off grass
Obviously we will not be able to complete all these these tasks in one Saturday, but with your help we can get as much done as possible!
Committees: We need Volunteers to head up the following areas! If you are interested in helping with anyone the following areas, please email Glenda at
1) Concessions
2) Uniforms
3) Sponsorships/Fundraising
4) Lead Team Parent
Training Clinics: We be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday & Thursday evenings, with the first one on Tuesday February 23, 2010. Player evaluations will be held on Thursday March 11th and team assignments will be announced on Sunday March 14th.
Team Practices: Will begin on Tuesday March 16th. Practice schedules are made by individual team Coaches.
Opening Ceremonies: Opening ceremonies will be held on Saturday April 10th
Games: Games will start on Tuesday April 13th. Schedule to be posted after teams have been selected.
